the west hopes to use them to pay taxes already owed
it's the usual comedy of errors of democracy
and diversity is still genocide
a few years ago 40+ migrants froze to death in the back of a lorry.
Regardless of why they are coming here, we need to crack down on people smugglers who don't care what happens to them once their money has been handed over.
I think we need to eliminate the reasons they come here.

You'd have to go full Soviet to stop it.
Maybe the west should stop invading and bombing other countries and trying to impose their will.
We also need to sort out equality so that wealth and opportunity is shared to all.
Our problem is that when we don't invade and bomb, problems proliferate.
We should probably separate method from goal here.
Like, US foreign policy is ham-handed, even when it has good intentions.
