@icedquinn It is that sort of talk that will cause Russia and allies to use the nukes first.
Who the hell votes these idiots in to power ?
So far I don't think Russia is the real threat, they have said they have no intention to invade, it is western paranoia driving this.
Given the lies and misinformation around the lockdown parties at 10 Downing street, the UK alone is hardly in a position to try and accuse Russia of being dishonest.
@icedquinn While the west has been dithering China has been not only building armed forces, but also the ability to attack the west IT infrastructure
We are trying to get more cyber security experts, but other countries are ahead of us massively.
@icedquinn Indeed, educate people on good passwords, and using 2fa (which for me is a pain) but if it was a job requirement, employer can provide the phone for it.
But there are alternatives such as Yubi keys (or something) smart cards etc.
So long as we have clueless managers in charge we are doomed.
Sounds good, we need a full rewrite of everything I guess.
kinda makes me think we need web4.0, using say different ports (secure only) min size cert keys say 2048 bit or higher,. and rebuild everything better.
@icedquinn Ah ok, I was just guessing here.
I try and use OpenGPG but very few people use it, i am ok signing e-mails, it just seems to confuse people who try and open the .asc file.
@zleap @icedquinn
You're mostly right. Thing is, you should always be willing to use nukes first. You just never say it out loud.
@icedquinn @zleap
>now its all economic and cultural warfare.
There's also proxy wars.
Be prepared yes, I am sure nukes should be the final option though surely, as all it does is lay waste to the target who in turn lay waste to you.
As they conclude on the war games movie. There is no winner.
@zleap @icedquinn
>I am sure nukes should be the final option though surely
At this point, that's basically a given.
It's just something that should be considered if:
1) you have a high degree of certainty that your enemy is gonna launch soon (and I'm talking about real certainty, not CIA promising Iraq has weapons of mass destruction).
2) there's a strategic possibility that by firing first you can somehow disable some of the enemy's infrastructure in a way that prevents them from launching 100% of their available nuclear armament. If you're both gonna fuck each other anyway, might as well try to make you & your allies less fucked up.
they're obsessed with russia because they're not a member of the club. china is the real threat but the globalists still find them useful for some reason.
