So just trying to get my head around how this works so that I can try to explain to others! So Mastodon is a software hosted on thousands of servers with different URLs, is that correct? I signed up on https://toot.wales after seeing a link on Twitter. So for people who have signed up on other (different) URLs / servers, can I still follow them and see their posts? Diolch! so entering that in the search bar should find people.
