A good reason to see how we can help politicians to be on here to engage. I just worry about what they will drag in with them

@zleap Hi Paul, I actually research this area, and there's actually very good reason to doubt the results here.

I did a thread on my profile. But the short of it is that the AI used here doesn't understand who "toxic" words are being directed at. The system also assumes swear words = toxicity. Which is problematic for a large number of reasons!

I think more research is needed but perhaps the fedi opens up new opportunities for people to do that research on the fediverse.

in the mean time it would be good to get political parties on here, so they can engage, just not sure on the best way to do that., of course they would run their own instance, which will possibly help with moderation.
