@zleap basically true and absolutely sad days but on the other hand full of hope

@hadhabadi

If I click on the icon in the corner to get the threat up, I don't get anything at the moment, are you able to keep this network updated as much as possible please.

This is the bbc news for the middle east, maybe they have not caught up with this yet but I would hope that the idea of executing 15000 people would make top of headline esp on TV news.

@hadhabadi

Indeed, I don't understand Islam that much, but I executing those 15000 protesters could create 15000 Martyrs, and even more anger towards the government and leadership

@zleap you are right, I guess the regime needs to reform and not face the protests at first. I also believe this is not yet a revolution. Revolution needs a Renaissance and at the moment in Iran people only know what they don't want not what they want

@hadhabadi

That seems to be the case in other countries too.

I remember a post on diaspora (another part of fedi) yeas ago, from a leader / academic in India ( I think ) basically saying you can't expect people who have been subjugated for years ( reference to British rule I think ) to understand what democracy is.

@zleap Seems that it's true. What's more is it's happened before in 2019.

@zleap I am also very concerned about the protestors, it seemed difficult to believe, and Newsweek seems to have backpedaled this sensational article a great deal. Newsweek has undergone profound changes in ownership since 2010.
