Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE)
IIRC they used to use dry ice to detect the Neutrinos but then moved to liquid argon (or other noble gas as a liquid) to try and detect. The neutrinos caused flashes, which I would assume is due to the interactions causing electrons to jump energy level. (not sure though)
