As a student I saw the Special AKA at Lanchester Poly in Coventry in '78. Still one of my all time top 10 gigs.. utter mayhem..soon after Gangsters was no.1 in the charts.
Others include the Gang of Four in Bristol and supporting the original line-up of the Cramps at Bristol Trinity Hall.
No 1 will always be my first ever gig seeing Bowie on the final Ziggy and the Spiders tour in '73.
