@ssgeos There does seem to be a lot of activity around the pacific ring of fire recently not long ago there was a volcano erupting in Chile, and before that other volcanoes, oddly with a week or two gap between. Are these events related in some way?
@zleap We cannot say with certainty what is and isn't related, but larger earthquakes to the South (Central / South America) are often followed by larger earthquakes to the North. In September Mexico had a Mw 7.6 earthquake.
