@zleap @BrodieOnLinux it's less the resources thing but more hardware support and other issues popping up due to age iirc. Not to mention most everyone else has switched to it and there's a ton of support for it. Eventually xorg is probably gonna end up being skeleton crewed or something due to the support favoring Wayland.... Esp for gaming and such.
