When you submit your code to ChatGPT, you're making it available to 3rd parties with no controls. This code could be work product that belongs to your employer, and they may be able to take legal action against you for that. Additionally, it's a big security risk unless you know 100% that it contains nothing which functions as a "secret" AND there is nothing to be exploited were it to become public. Most developers absolutely cannot claim to know that. They should be afraid to do this.
