Our Special Correspondent on #Extremism @stevanzetti is at Buzzbrews in #Dallas, where community members have gathered to defend a #drag show from extremists. Steven reports #LGBTQ+ supporters far outnumber the bigots and fascists. nitter.nl/stevanzetti/status/1

Also at Buzzbrews in Lakewood: Texas Observer's David McHam Investigative Fellow @josephinelee, who reports: “Only ten protestors showed up to protest the #drag show at Buzzbrews today while dozens of of #LGBTQ+ defenders line the sidewalk around the place.” nitter.nl/josephineklee/status

@jackhutton @josephinelee fortunately, it seems like the community outnumbers the extremists at every event where community defense is called for

@TexasObserver @josephinelee "The group organizing the anti-drag protest today is Protect Texas Kids, an anti-LGBTQ+ nonprofit with unknown funders. PTK has been one of the primary organizers of anti-LGBTQ+ mobilizations in the state of Texas"

Where is the money coming from -- who's paying for PTK... Who's behind / paying for "Republican state Representative Bryan Slaton"

Dark money is big problem.

Agreed, any organisation needs to be transparent regarding funding, this however should start at the top with the governments of countries, as in THEY set the example.
