Banning TikTok isn’t just on the Republican agenda.
Democrats want in on the action too.
Senate Majority Leader is in favour of a TikTok ban. He cites Chinese ownership of the service as a factor.
American politicians’ approach to TikTok is following the same playbook as the Huawei ban. And that had bigger geopolitical consequences!
There’s no question a TikTok ban is likely.

So would this be a good or bad thing, seems there are good things on TikTok, but there are (as with any service) bad things too.
Or is this more about privacy.and china having alleged access to US data.
@zleap This is mostly about geopolitical conflict with China.
Either way, this shows just how much Big Social is vulnerable to the whims of politicians.
