Given the impending ban on TikTok and the situation on twitter with only those with blue ticks being able to engage in a meaninful way, are we anticipating another big migration to the fediverse.
Peertube could end up as the next tik tok with lots of users joining or self hosting.
I had not noticed issues with stability, but it does show the need for development and there is a federated alternative to TikTok too.
I think we are moving in the right direction, I think peertube does need some UI tweaks, so for example upload multiple videos (ideally drag & drop) and set some standard text for each. So I can upload a set of vidoes of a football team training, they need the same info, titles,tags and info anyway.
If I understand things drag & Drop needs perhaps non-free components to work (which is fine if we can't do that) but perhaps upload videos but then be able to also upload or edit all video info at the same time.
Limit how many you can upload at a time, either number or total size to reduce network load (Or what ever may cause issues).
