I wonder what would happen if former school staff decided to sue the people who, as pupils assaulted theml either physically, verbally or both. In some cases one child can abuse several adults. Could be interesting and would terrify kids today knowing they may be sued for kicking a teacher or staff member.
It would also be interesting as in the UK staff / teachers get assaulted and told by kids and theiir parents (usually) they can't be touched. They seem to know exactly what they are doing and saying sometimes too.
What about measures that if a judge does not give a max prison term, say 10 years, and only gives 5 years, if that person commits the same offence (e.g rape) perhaps the judge can be sued as if that person was in prison they would not have committed the rape against the victim at least.
