"In court, Ethan Crumbley's attorneys have painted a similar picture of the boy's childhood, calling a psychological expert who said he was a "feral child" who was neglected by his parents and suffered from mental illness."
Is a strong suggestion of child neglect anyway, so without buying a weapon for said child, the parents shoud be doing time for neglect.
Perhaps this will be a turning point, if you are able to have kids, go on to have kids you need to take responsibility for their safe upbringing or face consequences.
Now if we could just do the same in the UK when kids kill others, we may see parents start to take action, of course there is alwayd the danger such parents could be MORE violent towards those kids, a good reason for social services, police etc to be able to take early action if safeguarding concerns are raised.
