Hey now, don't be silly. I'm an anarcho-syndicalist, not only do I love democracy but I'm prepared to fight and even die to give you and yours an opportunity to actually TRY it.
Because you haven't; this is not a democracy. Nothing capitalist, is a democracy. No country that restricts the vote so rich guys always win, is a democracy. Like I tell you all the time; you're living a fantasy. EVERY election is rigged; for rich fucking nazis and their ballwashers in the petty boug.
People don't see the point in voting and nothing changes, perhaps we need to find ways to better engage with those we vote for or they engage with us

One of the fundamentals in play here that isn't really regarded as in play is Faith. And even though I prattle on about a specific Liberal Civic Faith where The State comes to resemble The Catholic Church more than anything else, the larger conceptual Faith that a State with pretensions of freedom requires is on the table and directly linked to the perception of pointlessness. Even those who are desperately trying to raise the seed of vote out there right now can't get around this lack of Faith in their efforts, partially because they don't see Faith mattering at all even as they are foremost practitioners of it.
But truly, the question of making voters in a Liberal Democracy see a point, restore and validate the Faith in it, requires a restoration and validation of it that can ONLY be delivered by those least likely to do so who currently run show. No guessing about the composition of the amenable, that simply does not matter in restoration and validation - The Goods do, The Goods.
