What do the #Tories want the armed services to be?
One week it’s conscription - everyone must be prepared to fight for King and country.
The next week - but we don’t want diversity, women, minorities or LGBTQ+…because we just need white guys we can train to be killing machines that will follow orders from the upper classes.
And £288 billion on defence NOT climate in next decade.
There was talk about reducing security checks for overseas applicants. This cannot be allowed to happen it create two tier system, you have a policy of checks that applies to everyone.
There are also armoued vehicles that can't fire while moving, billions wasted on non delivery even of badly working kit, perhaps this is why people don't[ want to join, they don't want to join a dysfunctional, badly equipped army people want to join a well equipped, well trained and properly looked after armed forces.
