If we had a real government, we’d already be talking about laws that require ALL AI generated images to have come kind of watermark that makes it clear that it isn’t real. There is no other workable solution that can prevent the inevitable harm this tech can and will cause.
The criminals who use AI to exploit others won't bother with this anyway, surely.
We should know by now that prohibition does not work, and we need an alternative.
@zleap Again, that is true of almost everything we criminalize. The purpose of all criminal law is to discourage and reduce harms, not eliminate them.
It probably will go back to educating people on how to spot the AI generated content, regardless of what that content is
