The US is pushed to the sidelines of international security politics:
NATO partners want to remedy the lack of US support for Ukraine, by introducing a USD 100 billion fund, and taking over the coordination of military aid.
Until now the US played a key role with Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin leading the meetings at Ramstein Air Base, etc.
Clearly, Mike Johnson will not succeed in making Russia win. He will just make the US lose influence.

Why is it the government can find USD 100 billion, and yet they can't find funds to keep road and rail infrastructure maintained. I get the impression some parts of the US infrastructure in that respect are really broken.;
I understand that, it just seems they can magic huge amounts of money from thin air sometimes.
@zleap in many cases they are borrowing money from our future. In Denmark huge government bonds have been issued to finance these extraordinary circumstances.
@zleap because fighting Vladimir Putin is not a free choice. The alternative to fighting Putin, is him spreading like a cancer.
