The UN Secretary-General has called on Israel to cease its military operation in the occupied West Bank.
Israel must "immediately" end its large-scale military offensive in the occupied West Bank, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said Wednesday, after 11 Palestinians were killed and several more injured.
Guterres strongly condemned "the loss of lives, including of children," and called for "an immediate cessation of these operations."

How many more times does the UN Secretary general need to do this before he finally spells out OR ELSE!! Tell israel to stop and spell out clearly the consequences for israel if they don't.
Ok odd question and one that maybe other maybe thinking about too, What is a veto, ? it seems they are used to not vote on a resolution, but there seems to be a lot more to it than that.

A veto means “I forbid” and does not mean to abstain.
The United States has used its veto power in the UN Security Council 42 times against resolutions condemning Israel - on a total of 83 occasions on which it has exercised its veto power.
Half of all US vetoes were made because of Israel.

As long as the United States continues to misuse its veto right to shield Israel, there is not much he can do.
