EU plans to step up support for Lebanon in absence of ceasefire
“We have to help this country. We have to use this opportunity of Hezbollah’s weakness to strengthen Lebanon’s political structures, and we have to bring about a ceasefire in the region,” EU’s top diplomat said.

Sounds good, there has to be a political way out of this rather than the endless cycle of bloodshed, however the EU / West need to learn that they need to plan LONG term so the country is supported to counter Hezbollah, then helped to fully rebuild so the people have hope for the future and confidence who ever runs the country will put the peoples interest first.
