In one sesne the Dems have two years to get their act together so they can take back the Senate ( i think ) which should make it much harder for Trump to get any laws passed, after that they have 2 years to go further and win the next election, they will then spend 4 years simply undoing all the damage that can be undone.
Of course in 4 years there may not be an election as Trump has suggested or implied that there may not be an election.

@zleap @micchiato @kcarruthers To be entirely clear, I hope the genocide-enabling Dems disintegrate, disappear, spontaneously combust, allowing Socialists and Greens to rise in their place.
They have done nothing to reduce the threat of MAGA in four years of power, nothing other than make excuses for doing nothing. Expect nothing of them now.
