Isreal has already used the current situation in Syria to sieze land, I just hope that rather than using violence these neighbours can use the courts to bring israel to justice. Saying that if it was not for the fact Israel attacked Lebonon and weakened Hezbollah, the situation in Syria would have remained the same as before.

Indeed, but if they can do that in the courts, rather than yet more senseless bloodshed of civilians, it would be better. In some ways if you sign up to the Army you expect to go to war and know you may die, you kinda sign up to that. Civilians do not sign up to the risk of being blown up, when international law has banned actions that put them in the firing line. The IDF can identify a target and building and send in special forces to take that person (or persons out) like the Seals did with Bin Laden. There is no legal justification to bomb a whole building.
I agree,
I would prefer a peaceful outcome, but my sympathy for the terrorist state of israel has evaporated. they want to turn Gaza into a holiday resort, built on top of the corpses of murdered Palestinians. Then they will do the same to the West Bank.
They are already doing this to the west bank, we just don't hear much about it
Yeah I know, it's a slower version of ethnic cleansing
The people of Israel deserve better too, or i believe a majority of them do,
I hope you're right.
The Zionist entity is founded on genocide and ethnic cleansing. Collateral damage and collective punishment is the entire point of their strategy (see the Dahiya doctrine).
They _could_ return home to Europe or New Jersey or whatever, but they _choose_ genocide, occupation and apartheid.
In this context it makes total sense to not surgically strike resistance fighters but instead flatten city blocks 🤷♂️
@zleap @Geri
perhaps resentment of israel will become a unifying force in the middle east... what a shame that would be
