On today's 80th anniversary since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, I have started to ask myself if the dreadful actions of the Israeli state and their message that any criticism of the Israeli state is anti-semitic actually encourages belief in anti-semitism amongst those who take the Israeli government at face value and are unable to divide the Israeli state from the Jewish faith?

Yes, there is a big difference, and it is not antisemitic to be critical of Israel, any state or group need to be held to account.
