Possibility one is that they were bullied by Trump. Possibility two is that they were always like this, and have been waiting for it to become socially acceptable enough before revealing themselves.
Lego is a Danish company, and many Danish people are currently very anti-Trump, so I doubt it's possibility one.
As for possibility two? The current CEO of Lego, Niels Christiansen is Danish but he's a McKinsey guy whose previous gig was in Switzerland. Given what McKinsey is like, I wouldn't put it past him to simply be revealing his true colours.
