In an Al Jazeera interview, international law professor William Schabas asserted Israel's actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide, citing UN reports on deliberate starvation and destruction of Palestinian reproductive capacity as genocidal acts under the Convention.

He noted a growing expert consensus recognising Israel's conduct as genocide, despite Western governments' continued military and diplomatic support.

In legal terms, complicity in genocide includes aiding, abetting or participating in the commission of genocide with the intent to destroy a national, ethnic, racial or religious group in whole or in part.

This can include acts such as planning, inciting, ordering or otherwise aiding and abetting the commission of genocide.

So by arming Israel or a state in full knowledge the weapons and ammunition will be used to target civilians should fall under that definition.

As stated on the video, the west could be more robust and tell Israel we can't support you in your actions due to civilian deaths alone.
