The #reviewmeta guy is looking to step down and pass on the site. I really hope he's able to find a good site admin. The problem of fake reviews still exists, and it has gotten even trickier, especially when you take into account paid reviewers. Although, allegedly, such reviewers are disclosing that they receive the products for free, aggregate data like star ratings can obscure the influence of paid reviews.
