Why in #Fedilab and #Tusky and #Husky the timeline can be swiped only from up to down? It seems to be very unuseful when a toot is longer than your screen. You shall first swipe down to see the very start of a toot, then swipe up to read it, and then swipe down through the whole toot you just read to see the next toot.
Or I just haven't found proper settings?

@neonkaaa I guess I understand your meaning, but in tusky, the longer ones are truncated until you expand them, and usually I open the toot on it's own view then back out... does that help any?

If it's possible, I would prefer something with minimal movements. For example, make it possible to append new toots not to the top but to the bottom of the timeline. I think it will eliminate parasitic gestures.

anyway, I'm scrolling in both directions often enough to see things I missed as well as new stuff, so it seems a non-issue to me
