Suddenly realized code notebooks are basically just Knuth's literate programming... Everything old is new again.
@niconiconi yes except literate programs were intended to be combined with other programs, and that's very difficult with a jupyter notebook

@eqe this has been a genuine frustration with me. I wish notebooks had had composability as a first-class concern from the start, but they only seem to be useful for human consumption @niconiconi
