@eddie1perez If only they had some sort of registry of internet names, possibly with government agencies having their own secure, easily recognisable space in it, and some way of connecting social media feeds to this

implying that governments should set up servers in the fediverse? I would agree with that. the US gov, for instance, has already been through this with email and federal web sites. now there's a viable alternative to Twitter, it seems like a no-brainer
