But perhaps... and this is conjecture, give me a little leeway here... with all the talk of toxic masculinity, or the toxicity of any masculinity in general has made it unpalatable enough to be a dude... perhaps that some are buying into it and choosing to claim to be trans or nb to escape being told at every turn about their privilege and such?
