I hate eczema… I used to have it really bad when I was younger! Now I have it and it’s usually on my hands because I’m always having to wash dishes at my job and I also break out at night sometimes before it’s time for bed… I’ve been thinking of trying the pills that came out recently that you can take for it to see if it will be of any help at all.

@AmandaHilden Will a decent creme help on it? I don't have eczema, but if I'd wash my hands often I'd have painful finger tops with a bit of skin damage. In my case this O'Keeffe's Working Hands Creme really works well. So maybe something similar could work for you as well?

Also, having gloves while dishwashing might be a good idea too?

@trinsec I’ve tried everything! Hydrocortisone is the only thing that works somewhat. Gloves do for a bit and then my hands start sweating which causes another flare up. :blobsad:

Currently using Hydrocortisone, Benadryl cream, Benadryl pills at night, and Smith & Nephew Secura Moisturizer Cream.

@AmandaHilden Oh wow. What about the allergy-free latex gloves? Those have a sort of linen lining inside, maybe that'd help somewhat against sweating? Bonus: They're easier to put on and take off too, since they're not sticking as much as normal latex gloves!

Hope those pills help! This ain't fun at all!

@trinsec I use latex free gloves but they still sweat eventually. I try to stop it by opening my glove out to allow air from a fan inside. I’m thinking of trying cotton gloves with a glove on top to see if that works. Yeah, I hope the pills work too!
