NYT, WaPo, WSJ… your headlines ARE your output for all but your dedicated readers who are probably read up on the issue anyway. You simply can NOT fix the flaws in your headline with a quote in paragraph 8 and 18, and you cannot dilute the through a methodical laying out of the facts, either.

@AmberWavesofFlame @gotofritz @timlee Even if you read the whole article, nobody says "well, it's fine that paragraph 7 was terrible and wrong because they said something correct in paragraph 13."
