First up for #Garden #WildFlowers is Yarrow. Also known colloquially in England as Knitbone, for its bone healing properties. Botanical name is Achillea millefolium & there are *plenty* of cultivars.

@natureworks I have a yarrow that somehow manages to look beautiful even when heat-stricken in the early summer before its time to bloom. Instead of turning brown and wilted it turns elegant silver and curly and with its fernlike leaves it looks like living scrollwork.
