@ringo right now the excess CO2 in the ocean is increasing its acidity, to the detriment of ocean life in general and shellfish in particular. Still confused how bringing it back to its more natural state would be a bad thing, as, despite the hyperbole of the response, nothing about the described intervention implies we’d take all or too much of the CO2, just the extra build up.
