I can’t stress enough how unhelpful it is to prescribe mindfulness, gratitude, and positive thinking to strangers on the internet who are going through serious struggles. You can’t help people who are lost in the dark by barfing rainbows on them.

@maxleibman uggh and try being a pre-menopausal age woman. You get all that toxic positivity PLUS various suggestions implying your feelings are probably PMS and will self-resolve within a few days anyway, so just weather your “bad mood” with some “self-care” and chocolate, gaslight any of your unhappy thoughts so you don’t bring anyone down or irrationally take it out on anyone, and before ya know it you’ll bounce back and realize you were making a big deal out of nothing!
