People generally do not understand the difficulty with updating production software platforms with millions of users, and the need for tireless testing of even the smallest changes which can result in unforeseen issues. One of the things that Mastodon has done very well is not to over promise, and to make certain that when something is released that it generally works. Quote Posting is a big change and we need to give them time to get it right.
@mastodonmigration @CarlG@esq.social @andrew @renchap it's a bit easier when the feature is already supported in other fediverse servers though, including modified Mastodon.
