@algowatching and either way, "murder" implies intent. If someone didn't intend to kill other people then they "killed" them, no matter if by freak accident with no fault of their own or by bad judgement / incompetence / other at fault but unintentional causes.

@Amikke I'm not privy to the details of the consultations (reading between the lines, I assume that the prosecution was not able to find a signed document that said "don't drive"). As for intent, taking amateur control of a 200kW machine in a place full of people should be enough to characterize it (wrote about it here: http://blog.nkb.fr/lethal-speed/). German judges did recognize the intent to kill for people taking their machines at 150kmh in a city – I'm just saying that 50kmh is enough.

And no, classifying someone driving their car normally without exceeding the limits with "intent to kill" is way too much of a mental backflip to be considered seriously. They considered 150km/h that because it's intentionally driving over limit and knowingly endangering others. Please refrain from such mental acrobatics that make all the activists for causes dear to you a laughing stock by association. I see these posts, and then see them some time later presented as "another proof that climate/anti-car-centric-cities activists are oversensitive manipulators". Hell, if I weren't so lucky and learned of the issue from that side I'd be pretty convinced, there's way too much of this, I've literally seen enough of this bullshit to guess the information you're omitting or straight-up twisting before even looking into the articles. This isn't helping your cause, it's harming it.
