Wow! You guys, check this out — turns out, using biometric data instead of password as means of authentication might be insecure because once it gets stolen there's no way to change it! https://www.theregister.com/2024/02/15/cybercriminals_stealing_face_id/ Now their initiative to improve security when accessing the financial institutions mandated by the law in Taiwan and Vietnam is basically toast. Who could've expected such a thing! Da-a-amn!
@m0xEE Out of all biometrics faceID is the easiest to bypass. I remember once taking a pic of my roommates face, displaying that pic on my phone and pointing his camera at my screen to unlock it.
@m0xEE you can also unlock your spouse's phone by putting her finger over the fingerprint scanner thing while she's asleep. Normies somehow think this is good security since they're too retarded to use a password manager.
@Amikke@m0xEE sorry i don't mean a password manager for literally unlocking your phone, that can stay in memory but you and i both know that pin is gonna be like their birthday / birth year and they're gonna use it on every single account they have normie security measures are almost always a fucking joke
