I might have medium sized reversing job for you. Ill send link to product soon. I want its hw and fw reversed. Its weakness its quite unstable. I wanna fix that and provide open source version of stable product at minimum bom.

@PawelK I wouldn't want to turn down work but there is more capable hardware that would not need this to be implemented. The result would be a superior product in hardware and firmware.

Do you have idea how to build such thing? My blind friend says there may be massive market amongst them for such product.

Seeing blackness only blind. Eyeless id roughly say.

@PawelK There is much more that could be done than this. Did you ever see Daredevil the movie? Echolocation has been noted among some blind people. Low power lidar could be used as a navigation aid. Self contained and Roombas have been using it for years.

@PawelK Something similar could be used for reading at a faster pace than braille. Perhaps it could become sensitive enough to where they could play video games.
