@Genen @PawelK @SirDingus @rin @smigol I've heard that Ukrainian is like Russian but with Romanian influence. It was almost like Russian.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol We were on the same CSGO team so I just assumed they were Russian.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol I've only confused Romanian with Latinized Russian. My spelling is terrible and that was actually a Romanian woman I was communicating with. We both understood English and that's when I realized I had spent an hour trying to communicate. I don't know how I managed that.

@AmpBenzScientist
Generally if you know russian, most cee langs will be much easier for you. But some will dislike being talked to in russian.

@Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol I know that it was standardized but not forced to replace the native languages.

@AmpBenzScientist
It was grand plan but we broke it. The strength of enforcing russian as secondary or primary varied though. In poland luckily it was only as secondary and lax and everyone hated it and still does to this day throughout of most of cee minus serbia and bulgaria I think.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol Counter Strike Global Offensive. It's not uncommon to hear Cuka Blyat or Pizdic in game. It has become a meme about Russians somehow. Like Stalker.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol Pizdit is just general profanity, I don't know if it can be used incorrectly.

@AmpBenzScientist
To make it perfect its suka in latinized, its written in russian as cuka. Blyat sometimes has ' at the and in latinized to mark t as being soft version.

Those soft and hard signs and moving accents from word to word in ukr and rus were disaster for me to learn comparable only with tonespersyllable in some asian languages.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol When I was learning Chinese I often heard other languages and it kept confusing me.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol I know it translates roughly to "fucking bitch" in English. It's difficult to use because if they understand it there will likely be a physical response.
