I thought it was bad when I had a conversation with a coworker a couple years back pertaining to pedophilia and how labcoats use their credentials to bullshit people and he bought into the whole, "why would they lie? if they can prove it then it has to be real" shit

We are at that level now where it IS socially acceptable to defend pedophiles, that they shouldn't be threatened or ridiculed, that there's nothing wrong with children being exposed to sexually explicit material, or PEOPLE IN PERSON for that matter
