@igelsQTs 38 Special detective style I believe. The barrel isn't long enough for 357 Magnum and it's not a snub-nosed revolver. Easy to carry and got off shots faster than pulling a full size auto. That's very similar to what American Police used a few decades ago. I think they are used in Japan still.

@igelsQTs Not much of one. They were known to require several shots to bring someone down. They were really good for pistol whipping when out of rounds. Actually very effective at that.
