Just been injected with Pfizer. Waiting in pharmacy for 15 minutes to see if reaction occurs.
@AmpBenzScientist Pretty okay. I little pain in some places, but that could just be my mind playing tricks on me. I don't really feel ill at all like other people have said.

@inference It's not going to be painless but it should be a minor annoyance at most. That's the same vaccine they used at my old University. Take it easy today and tomorrow. You might have a headache or feel a little ill and that should be the worst of it.

How many shots do you have to take? Is it just the 2 shots?

@AmpBenzScientist It's mandatory for me to have the first 2 doses, because that's what's classified as a "full vaccination"; the boosters don't seem to count.

I can't enter the US without them, and I'm just going to make it as I have only 8-10 weeks before I leave, and 8 weeks is required between doses.

@inference Glad to hear it. Those shots would send students and faculty back home when they got a dose. People walking out mid class with side effects and looking like they were quite ill.

Maybe the vaccine is safer now. I hope you have some time between the next shot and the journey. The second dose is the one that will have the side effects. Perhaps it was because the pharmaceutical companies couldn't be bothered to make sure that a dose wasn't two doses. The US government gave them immunity from being sued so why care right?

@AmpBenzScientist Well, that's not going to be how it is. I have to get on the flight only days after shot 2. The shot is the thing stopping me from going in 4 weeks instead of 8 weeks.
