CC @AmpBenzScientist , Ya w/meh?
Also with your specialisations, i thought a while about this, a closest nongovt area, you could possibly fancy and/or that could benefit you, could be perhaps cybersecu, think those giggle zeros findings from Samsung exynos (was it?) chipset, and other low-level firmwares of various sorts, vendors, platforms, eqt elrments, like *ahem* amnesty's *ahem* mobile-verification-toolkit, and so on.
@PawelK @hn100 In the past I've reversed, or attempted to reverse, malware that modifies firmware. I documented SE Linux and Samsomething Knux getting bypassed by a row hammer attack. As security increases, the malware becomes more magnificent.
Usually people tell me that it is impressive but they didn't ask, also fix the problems debil.
I'll have to look into it but this time I will need to be more careful of potential pitfalls. I once learned a lesson and it taught me a lot.
Still, jumping in the deep end of a pool is how I learned to swim. Nothing like applying knowledge when and where it is needed. Sorry to my parents if they read this, I was a terror to raise.
@PawelK @hn100 If they were to ask me why I visit their country, I would respond that it is a beacon of light in a dark place. I avoid the Socialism of the West and Authoritarian governments of the East. I also didn't want to go to Slovenia because no matter how I behave, people will think I went for male bonding.
