@freeschool The STacy was supposed to work with C size batteries, but it did not last too long, only a few minutes.

@freeschool It is the first "laptop" created by Atari (in quotes, because it weighs 7 Kg.). It is a full ST computer, with up to 4 MB of RAM. It has a great story. Then came the Atari STBook.

@Sarnau Would you mind sharing the serial number of your ST Book? Do you have both the motherboard's and case serials? 🙂

@Sarnau Yes, repairing it has been a challenge. Fortunately, all the electronics are working now, so I feel good about that. And, of course, the rarity of the ST Book makes it even harder because, depending on what's broken, you may not be able to find it (like the LCD screen).
Do you have a diagnostic board specifically for the ST Book? If so, where did you find it? 🙂
@Sarnau Thanks! It was fun to learn about the LCD, how it works and find the reason (and solution) of the missing pixels.

Just finished building PAL-1, a replica of the first computer using a 6502 processor, KIM-1 (designed by Chuck Peddle of MOS Technologies).
It is super interesting, because you can program it in machine language on the included keyboard.

Problem fixed after rebooting the AP... But I hate that I don't know the real reason, and I just hope it is a one-off.
(I know, I should have rebooted the APs yesterday, but because the other devices were working, I did not think that could help)
