Angry grandpa just walked over to the kids table, told Cousin Matt to stop shooting milk out of his nose, gave Cousin Andy a smack upside the head and menacingly yelled yet another warning about putting boogers on other kids plates when they're not looking, and pointed over at Cousin Marjorie (who had a pea shooter hidden under her folded hands on her lap) as a positive example they should all follow.

Remarked elsewhere this morning that they've been doing this show since the Newt days, and that it's been on longer than Gunsmoke was.
I know it's not actually funny, but there is at least some entertainment value to it-- will they use the same old excuses and arguments again, or will they add something new? What reasons will they put forward to support their anti-government views this time? How many times will each Republican member of the House break their oaths this season?

Hi I’m Chris. I’ve wandered to spend time with remote communities in the Amazon, spent time with the Hadza in Tanzania and have visited every continent apart from Antarctica.
I love spending time in the #mountains and #camping in the woods, generally being #outdoors.
I started #running Couch to 5k, about a year ago, and kept going to 50k. Now I have 5 #Ultramarathons booked for next year. 🤦♂️
I’ve been paid for taking #photos, but that’s on hold while I get settled into my new home, #Dundee.

A quick reminder that law enforcement *responds* to crime, but a living wage, food and water security, accessible healthcare, and public education *prevent* crime.
If you want safer communities, invest in people, not punishments.

Ordered a Nordic Blue 187-page dotted. Was excited to see that it has numbered pages-- that's really nice and gives me an idea of specific purpose I can use it for. And actually a couple of dollars cheaper than a comparable Moleskine, oddly enough. Supposed to be here Saturday. Will write report!

Speaking of smooth paper, high-end Japanese calligraphy paper is UNBELIEVABLE. Fooled around with brush and ink kanji a while back to see if I could do it. I can't, but it was fun to try.
