New paper about assignment of a tau fibrils similar to those found in 'sdisease. Also includes ideas how to compare data with known structures. doi.org/10.3389/fnins.2022.988

@AnsgarSiemer It is a pity that these #ssNMR experiments do not distinguish different #tau #amyloid conformations, such as the #AD and #AGD folds. Would #NOE distance measurements help, or is that not possible for these samples?

@SjorsScheres The short answer is 'yes'. Backbone chemical shifts mostly reflect secondary structure, which is not very different between strains. Long range distances from either or would clearly help.
