I deactivated my Twitter account a couple of months ago when I saw all of this coming down the pipeline.

Hi there SocietyMatt! Welcome to Mastodon! One thing I highly recommend that will boost your posts to like-minded people who follow tags farther is to use hashtags with context.

I have been a #reddit user since Aaron Swartz (gods rest his soul). I'm also a huge #scifi fan and think cancelling #Firefly was a tragedy. Also, about #elon, I have no idea what his endgame is, but it can't be good.
