Yesterday’s big project was moving the few plants from the meadow just south of the pond that I planted last year & survived the deer and lawnmowers.

2 Black-eyed susan, 2 Lanceleaf coneflower, and 1 purple coneflower

They’re now in a little spot off to the side that I’ve blocked off with some small logs, where I transplanted some rescued Obedient plant last year (one of those seems to be coming up, too).

It doesn’t look like much yet but I hope this will be a nice little wildflower patch 🙏🏻

Here’s a better look!

The flagged plants, in order:
- Black-eyed susan 💛
- Lanceleaf coreopsis 💛
- Purple coneflower 💜
- Lanceleaf coreopsis 💛
- Narrowleaf false dragonhead (obedient plant) 💜
- Black-eyed susan 💛
